Ketorolac tromethamine is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and is used for the short term treatment of moderate to severe pain in adults. Ketorolac works by blocking the body’s production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. Its analgesic properties make it a useful pain management tool across many settings including postoperative pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, menstrual disorders, headaches, spinal and soft tissue pain, and ankylosing spondylitis.
